All the search engine crawling in the world will not do you any good if the search engine “spiders” don’t find any helpful content on your website. Search engines can spot when you are making an attempt to spoof them, and if they think about your site to have committed a big offense, they may even permanently blacklist your domain from their results database. Not merely will you be understood as knowledgeable in your field, you will also make the search engines chuffed.

I believe that is as far as I can go with content – much of what is going to be debated in the subsequent section applies here too so continue reading. To start, you want to sit down with a bit of paper ( and do not forget your good old thinking cap. First, splatter them in the pages of your website. It’s best to have at least 3 per page ( of every one ), as the search engines likely won’t concentrate on them otherwise. Again, follow the guidelines in bold above that may be applied to ALT tags.

Doing so ( as well as violating any of the bolded ‘Do not’ points above ) can also get your site name permanently blacklisted. Another great search engine optimization strategy that’s often neglected is inward links. If the links come from sites with high Google PageRank ratings, that’s even better ( in Google’s eyes, anyhow – this doesn’t apply to MSN, Yahoo. Remember, the more inbound links you have, the higher your Google PageRank, as well as your position in the search results of Google, MSN, and the others.
